For some reason the Firewire out on my JVC HD100 doesnt work anymore. I've tried 2 different cables and my Mac Pro doesnt see the camera.

The Sony iLink Cable has very small ends. Neither end is a "IEEE or Firewire 400/800". Both ends on the cable are very very tiny. Which of course doesn't plug anywhere into my iMac :(

Even here in Miami these showrooms are very limited in what you can "touch and feel" and of course all order from B&H! LOL

They have better purchasing power than the average Joe (such as myself)...

Ever talked to some one that was at a Night Club on a cell phone? The sound from the background is so loud that all you can hear is horrible disortion and everything is muffled.

I believe it has been said that the guts of the HD1000 are the same inards as the HC7. The HC7 has been replaced by the HC9. I would assume that the HC9 is similar in performance as the HD1000.
