JVC HD100 & Black Magic Intensity Pro Card
For some reason the Firewire out on my JVC HD100 doesnt work anymore. I've tried 2 different cables and my Mac Pro doesnt see the camera.
he connection seems very loose - so I can only assume...

The Sony iLink Cable has very small ends. ...
The Sony iLink Cable has very small ends. Neither end is a "IEEE or Firewire 400/800". Both ends on the cable are very very tiny. Which of course doesn't plug anywhere into my iMac :(

Connecting the Sony HD1000 to an Apple iMac
Since the Sony HD1000 only has HDMI or iLink Outputs - Any suggestions on how to connect to an Apple imac that only uses FireWire 800?
Is there a HDMI to FW800 converter or am I only stuck with...

Even here in Miami these showrooms are very limited in what you can "touch and feel" and of course all order from B&H! LOL

Distortion and Muffled Sound from HD1000 Mic
Ever talked to some one that was at a Night Club on a cell phone? The sound from the background is so loud that all you can hear is horrible disortion and everything is muffled.
