The Spainish wedding was shot on the JVC HD200m clean, no adaptor. The other one was shot on the XDCAM HD.

HD-CONNECT AJA audio distorted

Am using a JVC hd201 the convergent design HD Connect box SDI to my AJA Kona LHe. This didnt happen before but now all my audio is distorted like a dalek through embedded audio.

Any ideas?

it's not that...it does it sometimes on DV sequences too...in the same project. Some take forever to export, some take seconds...all have heavy effects. Am stumped!

Yeah the project is fully rendered yet when i export as qucktime same as sequence settings it takes forever. Even when it isnt checked as self contained. Very odd

Quicktime export re-renders everything FCP

I have some very effects heavy sequences shot on xdcam hd that took ages to render. When I try to export them using the same sequence settings it re-renders them all again...is there anyway around...

As mentioned before it will be a right pain using Eos lenses with any adaptor. Not having control over the aperture will be quite a compromise. Look in the alternative imaging forums for more info...

Its really too big and heavy with the swing away for 35mm adaptor work, its really for big wide angle lenses...Redrocks new...

I have just got the cavision 5x5 hard shade matte...

I have just got the cavision 5x5 hard shade matte box....it is very good. So much better made than the 4x4 one i have of theirs. Its mostly metal...really solid, heavy...very impressed!!
