I have a ls300 and use the 12-35mm lens on it so I can tell you what I have done to stabilize handheld shooting, I got a small springloaded monopod which was too long but that I cut to custom length...

Only manual, I never felt comfortable using anything auto on a panasonic dslr. By only manual I mean I half press the shutter to lock focus and leave it at that and refocus whenever necessary.

I don't find that my gimbal or steadicam replaces my handheld work, there is a difference between handholding a camera from a stationary position and having full control over it compared to moving on...

Buy a Panasonic gx80 and get tripod like footage with a unstablished 75mm prime lens :)
Besides what you already have mentioned there is not much you can do if you want to shoot handheld.

It mixes perfectly with my jvc and makes it a great b-camera, low light performance is the same as the gh4, it only crushes the blacks more with the same scene files settings which looks like a way...

Yes I did, I used it to get all close up headshots from guests throughout the day with the 75mm and used the 42,5mm for the photoshoot and during brideprep.
