Sample of problem

I put together a few clips of the issue. It seems things don't stay in focus when I move the camera quickly. Is this a long GOP issue? Anyway, as you all requested, here is the link to the stuff. It...

thanks!

No. It is on. I recently switched to 24P and shot some footage. I don't think that would cause it. I am wondering if I shot some of this stuff with Auto Focus and that is causing some of the blur?

Footage strobes on pans and moves

I can't put my finger on it, but it seems since I got my camera back from the Sony update, I am getting beautiful pictures, but when I move the camera (I have a Steadicam type device) the movement...

How is this accomplished?

Thanks, Nick:
I took some of the weights off the bottom and was able to slow the drop rate a bit. Is this better accomplished by moving the gimbal? If I take any more weights off the sled, the...

call Sony and talk to the tech

You may want to call and check on your camera and let them know your concerns. Tell them to double check the audio switches and audio systems are functioning properly before returning the camera to...

Thanks all

I guess I just adjust these until the camera floats more than being stiff, right? The cost of the Flycam 6000 with arm and vest was around $1100.

Any ideas on the FlyCam6000 with Magicarm?

Hello all. It is nice to see this site. I really couldn't afford a Steadicam so I opted for a FlyCam6000 with MagicArm out of India. The unit and vest are well-built, but the instruction booklet that...

Tried the 6x Adapter from Century

I recently bought the 6x from Century and am very pleased. There is a slight barrel edging to it but not bad. I will use this lens for real estate video shots, so the barrel affect is not a problem. ...

What will Sony do with camera sent in upgrade?

I sent my EX-1 in for the upgrade and also asked about letters coming off the camera, battery depleting if left on the camera and a pixel problem in the viewfinder. From the posts I have read Sony...

Would you buy a .8 lens for the EX-1 or put the Money toward a Letus Extreme?

I was on a shoot today and a wide angle lens would have been great. Shooting inside a house is tough with the standard EX-1 lens. Looking at prices of the adapters, would it be better to buy a Letus...

After I wrote this I wondered if the problem is that I have an analog monitor trying to see a digital signal? I will play with it again. I guess the main concern is that the camera and the SDI are in...
