It was brought up in a discussion and the best they could do for 5D2 is 33 via FPS override.

They mentioned its not possible due to hardware.

It looks like they've given up on it for now. In fact they removed the wav recording option for raw video in the 5D2 (can't confirm if its the same with 5d3).

They only left the sync beeps at...

There is some progress with the 60D.

The 7D is in more dire straits due to the dual digic. Its running in alpha ML but sadly no raw video.

Most crop sensors that can run ML can do Raw video though limited. What particular models are you interested in, I'll try to retrieve some information from ML and transfer it here.

Since it was a supermoon weekend, here's a frame from raw video i shot.
Using 5D2 with nikkor 80-200mm f2.8 at 200mm + 2x teleconverter + MLraw 3x crop = a 1,200mm shot ? :)

There are some bugs in crop mode with the jun 18 NB for 5d2, so if you plan on doing some shooting in 5x crop mode use the jun 16 for the mean time.

with the vaf filter with crop mode, the image will be usable(depending on the subject) but its not the best image you can get from the 5d2 raw video in crop.

I won't recommend you keep on removing...

Here's a simple way to engage crop mode on the mkII.

ML menu raw video=ON
ML menu FPS over ride= ON 23.976 ( this gives more recorded frames than OFF)
Press magnify button once=5X

My comments will be on its video capabilities, its aliasing and moire is much worse than the older 5D2. If you plan on getting it to shoot raw with magic lantern its not looking good due to sd card...

I hope they have improved the preamp on this and power consumption, I'm not so happy with the H4n's performance in these areas.
