Re: How is this slow mo done?
One shot had some Twixtor morphing but the rest seemed to be native. Especially given the light flicker which resulted from the increased shutter speed. Ask him on his comments.

Brightness first, colour stuff next finally sharpen
I prefer levels over brightness and contrast and colour curves over colour corrector

And factor in re-edits. Are you going down the route of "We will change it again and again until you are happy"? If so then the time it takes to make changes, render, upload/post out disks.

Re: The Switch: From Amateur to Professional
I love this sort of post as it takes me back to when I gave up my day job in IT 4 years ago to go at this full time. I enjoyed sleeping in till 10am and getting up when I like. I now have a 2 year...

Re: Backlight - Aaargh!
You shooting one or 2 cams?
We always shoot 2 and in these situations we put ourselves as far to the side as possible without seeing each other. People rarely face forwards, they tend to look at...

Yup, Our TV supports exFAT but neither of our parents TV's do and I think our TV only got it because I updated its firmware lately.
If you want to gurantee it works you pretty much need to stick...

It doesnt matter if Im using a C100 on a mono, on a tripod with 3 wireless units and a H6 hanging off it or even moving around on a Steadicam with the record icon visible on the monitor for all to...

C100 doesnt stop the DSLR pose
A totally useless post but im bored.
Having a C100 doesn't seem to stop people posing for the camera thinking you have a DSLR. Even when it has a shotgun mic on top and is sitting on a...

Re: Alternatives to the 5D3
Its rare we used 50p, maybe for the occasional confetti shot. Still have a 6D for that if we need it.
On the C100 we use the PF25 mode which is 25p encased in a 50i wrapper. Sounds like a mess but...

Re: Alternatives to the 5D3
No peaking but it does 50p is the Canon 6D. Same sensor, same processor but sharper as it lacks the moire filter of the 5d3. Same great low light capability. Full frame and takes cheap sd cards.
