EIDT: ACtually after rereading the thread it looks like 1080P is best for greenscreen...

Keep in mind that if shooting green or blue screen you should use 1080P. There is more compression but there is also more color space to sample from.

You can also bounce light off the ceiling to brighten the room...

If you wear gloves while outdoor cold weather shooting you will find the rec button can be a bit tricky to hit. It's fairly small. I recommend fishing gloves (the ones with the fingertips missing)....
