Harper, I would probably suggest the Panny 14mm f/2.5 over the Oly 12mm f/2. There's only minor difference in focal length and light gathering ability, but a huge difference in price.

ETC is useless for photo. The GH2 takes 16 megapixel stills. ETC crops that to 2 megapixels, greatly reducing resolution.

That was one of the listed updates. I haven't shot with it since I updated. I had two important shoots on Wednesday, and didn't want to update my firmware on the chance that it ran into problems.
