One August night...

This a piece I made in a pool party-
I used a Canon 50D, shot in burst mode (6.3 fps)
and edited in Media Composer.

One August night... 2011 Ein-Hashofet Pool Party - YouTube

Enjoy!

Re: One August night...

I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing. I've never actually thought of doing a video in burst mode but it looks like possibly a better way of capturing the fun of a party. And what a party. Other words that spring to mind with the words pool, party and alcohol, are blood, fractures and hospital. Hopefully it turned out to be an injury free party ?

Re: One August night...

Thanks.
Well the party turned out to be injury free alright.
The only casualty was my second camera - a GoPro HD used with a monopod
to capture action inside the pool. Near the end of the party someone
just stole it. including my brand new LCD backpack.
can you believe these people!?
I am more pissed off about the incredible footage I had on the SD card
then about the camera itself...
Well - that's life...

Re: One August night...

Ouch. I bet that hurt. I'll possibly have the same dilemma when I do music video at a sleazy pub in a few weeks time. It will be hard to concentrate on getting the right shots whilst keeping a close eye on my gear.

Lucky you took enough footage with the 1 camera to get a good result.

Re: One August night...

Well - my advice in that case - bring someone with you,
they will keep an eye on the gear while you get the right shots.
