Change of Command - MoVi M10+Canon 1DC
Would love any thoughts on this recent project I worked on!
Shot with a MoVi M10, Redrock Wireless Follow Focus, Canon 1DC.. MoVi shots are all primarily Leica R 50mm - shot between 2.8 and 4.0 predominantly.

Re: Change of Command - MoVi M10+Canon 1DC
Looks very nice Evan, such a movi device has raised my interest as well, for the type of shoots you showed it's great to get perfectly stable moving footage without having the experience to operate a steadicam. I also saw it's 15k? That's very expensive, what is so special about it that justify such a high prize? I do see many clones appear and some that seem to operate very smoothly for prizes below 2,5k, is the movi so different to those cheaper knock offs?
I do have to say that eventhough I found your film well shot the movi was overused, every single shot was some kind of gliding shot and after a while it all looked a bit the same and became somewhat repetitive. But I did like those smooth gliding shots. :) |
