King of the Mountain short documentary
Hey guys,
I recently finished this short documentary. It's by far the biggest project I've been involved in so far. It was produced on a very low budget but I'm very happy with how it has turned out. It's not as "cinematic" and well shot as most, but it's very much more about the story and the history of the event. Anyway, I know 25 minutes is a big watch, but I'd love some feedback if anyone feels like sitting down with a cup of tea and having a look :) It's a very interesting insight to an incredible mountain running event in NZ that has been going for 60 years now. A bit of technical info: I produced, shot, and edited the doco (with a lot of help and feedback from the event organiser). There were 4 other cam ops involved with shooting the race footage, as well as 2 others that provided extra footage. Most of the IVs were shot on my Canon C100, and the race footage was shot on various cameras (Pansonic GH4, JVC HM600, Canon HF-G10 - we took what we could get). All edited in Avid Media Composer. Cheers. |
