That's Great! Nice camera work and post. That must have taken many hours to put together. I remember reading your various posts about lighting and such...now I know what you have been up to. I want to watch it again. Oh and don't worry about a lawsuit. What was that Don Henley song "Let's kill all the lawyers...kill them tonight"

Shane Valdez March 15th, 2006 02:20 PM

Wow thanks for the positive feedback!

Hi Peter,

I would like to watch your movie, but the download is dead slow, in spite in my broadband connection.
I'm currently downloading it at the incredible speed of 208ko/s !!! (Not kilobytes, kilooctects...)

I have to stop it.

Is there any other possibility to DL the movie ?

Peter Sieben March 16th, 2006 01:14 PM

Hello Gilles,

I've got a download speed of 500 KBytes per second right now, with a broadband connection other than the website provider. Perhaps give it a try later on. I don't have any other possibility to download it, sorry.

Shawn Beats March 16th, 2006 10:03 PM

It also didnt want to work for me either. I have broadband aswell. hmm.

Peter Sieben March 17th, 2006 01:09 AM

Another weblocation - will it work now?

Weird, when I try it this morning I got an ever better connection. It's hosted at Lycos, could that be a problem? On a payed hosting acount, not their tripod services, so it should be alright.

Anyway, I decided to use the webserver of my normal professional work for a copy of the film, that webserver is located at a different internet provider. Within 30 minutes you are able to download the movie from www.orphic.nl/tempfilm-subs2.mov

Hope this is working properly.

Nicely done. I liked the editing, pacing and the story was cool. The acting was solid - nice stuff. How much did you have to light in that library?

Peter Sieben March 17th, 2006 01:41 PM

We only had 3 redhead lights, each 800 Watt. Nothing big or special. You could say we filmed with the existing light, and used the 3 lights to make it a bit better. We made some reflection material ourselves. Check out the website (see below) to find some pictures behind the scenes at the set.

haha that was an awesome video. Could you explain how to create the bus running over the biker during editing? Thanks in advance.

CLEMENCY Film Trailer

Hey everyone,

IMAGEN Films is currently working on its feature film CLEMENCY. Check out the trailer at www.imagenfilms.com and leave some feedback. We shot on an XL2 with the G35 adapter, and editing was done in FCP 5.

That looks really good. Awesome CC. The feel of the movie moved nicely. Sound/music was fitting. The actors were believable.

Great job!

Cheers
Shawn

P.S. What sound equipment did you use?

Joe Strong March 19th, 2006 01:37 PM

Excellent trailer! Very well done.

Of all of the interesting visual elements, what I found most interesting was the shot of the woman driving a car whilst crying. There was something about the look of that shot that really struck me as odd, but not in the negative sense of the word. Alien, maybe...devoid of human quality, or perhaps devoid of sanity? Very striking. Was blue/green/whatever screen used for that shot?

Dylan Couper March 19th, 2006 02:59 PM

Hey Pauline

Did you guys ever finish Got Milk?

Tell Marty I said hi!

David Desper March 20th, 2006 10:58 AM
