SI-2K Iridas Color Management.
Hi,
With respect to the article: http://www.siliconimaging.com/Digita...2K_Iridas.html on your website, as well as previous posts on this forum, i'd love to ask the following questions: 1. Earlier posts (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=78212) pointed to Speedgrade OnSet being bundled with SI2K, please verify. 2. Will the Iridas Color Management Workflow be applicable as well to 12 -bit uncompressed Raw images in addition to CineformRaw? 3. In the diagram- Iridas Color Management Pipeline, there was an "Optional - Seperate View LUT to Mimic Final Print with On-Set Monitoring".Please elaborate on that in terms of equipment/software & added costs (if any?)? 4. Could you be more descriptive on how the final non-destructive color correction of RAW data will be accomplished in Premiere Pro. |

> We will be offering Speedgrade OnSet 2006 to be used with the camera and CineformRAW Metadata for $399. We may offer special software bundles for some cost savings. 2. Will the Iridas Color Management Workflow be applicable as well to 12 -bit uncompressed Raw images in addition to CineformRaw? > Silicon Imaging and Iridas are working together in several areas. We do already support real-time in-camera .look visualization while recording 12-bit uncompressed files and metadata. 3. In the diagram- Iridas Color Management Pipeline, there was an "Optional - Seperate View LUT to Mimic Final Print with On-Set Monitoring".Please elaborate on that in terms of equipment/software & added costs (if any?)? > You can load up to 4 .looks at any one time and select them each individualy for either record look or view look (or LUT) independantly. 4. Could you be more descriptive on how the final non-destructive color correction of RAW data will be accomplished in Premiere Pro. > The .look metadata will be applied just like it is previewed in camera. However, you will still have the option to select a different look to apply in Premier with prospect-2K. |
