x70: Any way to continue recording w/ LCD or viewfinder closed?

Just curious is there was a setting I wasn't seeing where one could continue to 'record' while the LCD and viewfinder were closed/off? It would sure come in handy for long scenes and time lapse to help get more battery life. (note: I haven't installed 2.0 fw yet)

Thanks

Yes - just close the LCD screen and push the viewfinder in whilst recording!

enjoy!

Or live streaming, yeah, that would do the trick to. :)

Ok, that sounds too simple (blush). Guess I was afraid to try it while I was shooting real shots.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I found it out the hard way after recording a first dance, not stopping the recording, packing up to go home, driving home for two+ hours & finding out that I had a 3 hour long first dance shot!!!
