Desktop Thumbnails for MXF files at DVinfo.net

Hi,
I just finally moved fro OSX10.4.11 to OSX10.5.8, and one thing missing is the thumbnails of MXF files on my desk top. These are exported sequences from FCP6 that I send to the TV station visa FTP. They would initially just have the white file icon, but after being reviewed in XDCamTransfer(2.51) would then generate a thumbnail icon based on the first file. I have also noticed that they will not automatically open in XDCam Transfer either, They will show up in the browser, but will not play until I select them.

Does anybody have an idea how to get the icons happening again. I have been through every preference setting I can think of in FCP, and XDCam Transfer with no luck.
