FCP 6 + DR60 + Matrox MXO , HDV to ProRes 422 workflow.

This is a double post. i didn't realize that actually there is a DR-60 thread on this forum. i will try to remove the copy from V1u / Z7. Finally here is my question :

There are a few workflows for HDV to ProRes 422. Depending on the project at hand and editing facilities some are more efficient than others. i have two additional pieces of hardware in my pipeline that turning the workflow just not interesting for most forum moderators :
- Matrox MXO
- SONY HVR DR-60 recording unit.

Any body else around here is using similar set for shooting > Editing ?
Any suggestions for workflow.

P.S. i use 35mm DOF adapter on a SONY V1u for most of my clips without a hardware flip. So, i have to flip a lot of clips in post production.
