DR60 and Vista
Has anyone actually used the DR60 with Vista? Just bought one and of course...
my desktop won't recognize it? It shows up in the Disk Management utility as an unallocated drive, and won't show up in windows explorer. A couple of times it showed up with my Vista laptop but now has started doing the same thing as the desktop? Not sure what to do? Do I reformat it ? FAT32 or NFTS? Help? Any advice greatly appreciated Travis |

If you reformat ONLY use the software from the recorder, never use windows to do this. NTFS is not an option with this device.
So I would try to format it using the recorders format settings, record some scene's with the camera and attach it to your pc to see if you can access it. See if the Sony capturing tool recognizes your recorder and if you can capture from it: Digital HD Video Camera Recorder - Memory Recording Unit I'm using XP professional and it works as expected. |
