mrc-1 (when cached mode) always creates two files by pressing rec.

mrc-1 (when cached mode) always creates two files by pressing rec. a small 10mb file and another file normal.
When in normal rec mod that does not happen.
sendo assim, tenho arquivos que nao me interessam, ocupando espaço do CF.

Are you using tape as well?

Re: mrc-1 (when cached mode) always creates two files by pressing rec.

If your cam has gone into post-standby mode (STBY not visible in LCD) then there will be a file break when the heads spin up and the tape re-threads. This always causes a break in the FW stream and will split your MRC files. If this is what's happening, then it has nothing to do with cache mode.

This only occurs if you are using tape with the MRC.

No, not so!
soon as I turn on the camera and press the rec it creates two files.
