Simple solution to add a regular size shoe to ANY Sony cam is to add a flash bracket - less than $20 typically, and it has the added advantage of giving you a second grip on the camera, which helps stability.

I use a pair of folding flash brackets myself, primarily for the added stability, but then I've got two extra cold shoe mounts for lights, mic, whatever...

And it keeps the AIS Sony shoe open in case I want to mount something that fits THAT!
