Does that work to record in HDV, or are you only recording in SD?

recording with quicktime hdv

open your camera on recording camera
open quicktime in pref go to recording(theres a camera),
video source:hdv-vcr
mic:hdv
quality:native

close pref
then go to:file then start recording a new sequence

at that time you will see the image from your camera

press the red button on quicktime window to record.

p.s: my quicktime is 7.4.1 and french so some word might be different but I think the translation is good
