VCT-80AV work with HDR-HC7

I read in one of the manuals for the VCT-50AV that it works with the A/V port of the HC7.

Does the 10 pin "D" connector work with the 10 pin A/V connector on the HC7?

Fry's Electronics had a display model. I might take in my HC7 to test it out.

It *should*, as the HC7 worked in the HCB sport pack, which uses the 10 pin "D" A/V interface.

Thanks for the reply. I'll head to Fry's Electronics in the weekend to test it out.
