Hard to see.. but under the barrel (near the push-to-autofocus button) and anywhere else you see black electrical tape is where plastic cracked off... and the tape is holding it together... hopefully nothing else breaks (the main issue was the microphone mount broke off, and when Sony sent it back to me with a $850 quote for repairs, I said... uhh no... but they didn't bother to re-attach the microphone, so I had to tear the entire handle apart with no guides/diagrams...

But after it was all done, the Mic works, it's held on pretty well, and that's all I care about...

I wasn't very nice to it though... =/

Martyn, I don't think it will last long at all.... I'll take it off your hands...maybe I could use it for parts or something !
