importing progressive footage in FCP

I was shooting with a v1 in the past, progressive mode. Recently I wanted to tranfer the foortage of some tapes into FCP, but I do not have my v1 anymore. Thus I borrowed a sony tape camera from a friend, not the v1, and not having a progressive video mode.
Now I noticed that the footage that I imported has a interlaced structure in a progressive sequence. Thus in every frame, you see the odd and even lines at different moments, thus interlaced.

Is this because I used another camera to import the footage?
