HDR-V1U Availability Date?

Its getting closer to the expected release date.

Anyone have updated info they are able to share about when we can expect to see the V1U in stock? The last post here on the forum that mentioned availability suggested the last week of November.

my supplier says it has slipped to beginning of December, one supplier even said he was expecting the date to slip to the new year. I am more optimistic than that!!

I am pretty sure late Nov./early Dec., but I'll need to research a bit.

Awesome, and I can't wait to see some killer footage from everyone! I haven't been this pumped since the FX1 made its debut, the official first 3 ccd HDV camera with manual controls (even if they call it Consumer).

I've been hoping for an early Christmas present. Maybe it will get here soon enough to catch some of the holiday spirit. Regardless I'll enjoy it just the same. I know my VX1000 is going to get a much deserved break. I've had it for years an it has never let me down. I'm expecting much the same service out of the V1.
