FX7 with polarizing filter and lenshood?

I am planning to buy the FX7 together with a polarizing filter.
The question is how to operate the filter, that means rotate the filter whilst the lenshood is still attached to the front of the camera?
Is this possible to do without touching the glass with your fingers?
I searched the forums and the only way to operate the filter was by taking the hood off , but that info was reffering to another type of camera.
Are there better options, because it is nescesary to have the lensflare reduced to a minimum.
all info is much apreciated
