V1 & FCP in PAL World

In NTSC world, 24p from V1 has not been supported by Final Cut Pro yet. Since I'm from the PAL world, does HDV 1080p25 or AIC 1080i50 will do the job if I want to extract the 25p I recorded in Sony V1?

Does anyone ever try the process?

Yes, FCP "extracts" the 25p from the stream just fine, as there are no flags for it to deal with.
Small side note; in HD, there is no NTSC/PAL. It's all ATSC, just differing framerates. ;-)
