Gone Down In Price!
I just ordered the FX1 through Amazon.com from J & R Music in New York for $3199. I'm sure the price will continue to drop as time goes on, but I just had to have this unit for my next gig (5-day Band Festival) in a few weeks. As I have no need for the XLR connectors in my set-up (the audio is recorded separately and synced in post) choosing the FX1 instead of the Z1 was a no-brainer.
I really wanted to get a wide angle lens also, but after reading the very informative posts on this forum, I've decided to wait. Thanks for the info guys, Ben Hardy |

Ben, the FX-1 is also selling for $3,199.95 from B&H http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...=351515&is=REG. Here at DVinfo we try to encourage everyone to purchase from our sponsors, not only because they support this site, but because they're the best in the business when it comes to service.

Oops! Sorry about that. I have an account with B & H, but the last time I had checked, they were still a few hundred dollars higher. I didn't see their new price.
