Accessing the Z1U paint menus?

Hi,
I do not have a manual available. Can anyone clue me into how one can access the paint menus on the Z1U? I've tried everything I can think of.

Thanks,
Tim

What's a paint menu? I have a Z1 and don't believe I've ever run into that term. Do you mean color correction maybe? That's part of the camera select menu.

Do you mean 'Revising a specific color-color correction'? pg. 42 of manual. This is where you can select 1 to 2 colors, and leave the rest of the frame, black and white. The instructions take up 2 pages, so you might try downloading the manual. There is a site to do this at the beginning of this part....Sony HDR-FX1 / HVR-Z1. Hope this is what you were refering to, otherwise there are no 'Special effects' options on the camera.

Sorry, I guess that term doesn't really apply. I'm trying to adjust the sharpness, black stretch and chroma gain. It doesn't seem to be in any of the menus I see available.

Color, CineGamma, Black Stretch, etc. are all in the Picture Profile menus. You must use one of the 6 picture profiles (PP1 – PP6) to adjust these. Picture Profile is a separate button above the Menu button on the Z1.
