Z1U Zoom sound Problems???
HI:
I need your help; I just bought the Z1U; I was doing some basic tests and I noticed (I am a picky guy) that when you use the Zoom in the handle you can hear a buzz and worst of all, this buzz is recorded in the tape; now, I did the test ina very quiet room, so, I remember an old problem with some PD-170 similar to that; is it normal? am I wrong? do some of you experience the same problem? Thanks for your answers; I am leaving the country TOMORROW!!! should I return the camera |

Are you using the internal mic? Sometimes it will pickup camera activity. The camera is first rate, however, keep it. If you use an external mic the problem will go away.

If your audio matters, you should never use the built-in mic. This is the same with most cameras.
