				Playing fx1 16:9 footage through hc1 4:3

Hello, I planning on selling my fx1 and getting a more portable hc1 or hc3. Is it possible to play HDV 1080i footage through the hc1 from DV tapes i recorded with the fx1? I thought the hc1 would not accept it since its 4:3 and the fx1 is 16:9. |

The HC1 is not 4:3 is native 16:9. It record anamorphic or letterboxed video.I think you must not have any problem to play fx1 records on the hc1. ___________________ Moderator note: Please don't include links to other camcorder forums. The HC1 and HC3 both have 16:9 CMOS chips, so there's no anamorphic compression or letterboxing anywhere in sight. Paul - your HC camera will play your FX HDV footage perfectly. tom. |
