np-f970

How many hours is the np-f970 good for.

Once I put some time in, maybe I can be of some help to someone.

Sorry for the simple questions.

I have the 770 currently, it seems pretty good.

Thanks!

you mean at one time? If so then I get somewhere in the area of 500 to 600+ minutes but then my batteries are more than 3 years old. Hell I've got 2 that are almost 7 years old and still work. Only hold a charge good for about 300 minutes maybe a touch more but they work great for 2nd camera.

It depends what you're shooting with. I used to get 5 or 6 hours on my PD-170. I get about 3 hours on the Z5 with the MRC-1 running.

Yeah same here, 6-7 hours with a PD170, 3-4 hours with a Z1

Not sure how accurate the Z5's algorithm is for estimating remaining battery life, but this is what it reports when a fully-charged battery is inserted (first number is without HVR-MRC1):

NP-F570 134/95 minutes
NP-F770 275/198 minutes
NP-F970 422/365 minutes
