Wide Angle Adpaters ...
Hello,
I am trying to source a reasonable w/angle adapter for my Z7 - one which on 16:9 does not show vignetting nor the lens assembly. I waited a week for delivery of a Zunow WCX-07 which gave me so much lens assembly in shot, it stayed on the camera less than 2 minutes before it was back in the box and back in the postal service ... So, please don't suggest the Zunow range! Anyone know of any good, reasonably priced w/angle adapters? Thanks, Stuart |

Thanks Guy ...
... and this one doesn't show up any vignetting? I remember what the salesman for the Zunow said, "no vignetting and I've tried it myself ..." Stuart |

The Zunow salesman at the London Video Forum last year told me they'd sold loads of these to the BBC to fit to their Z1s. When I tried it it barrel distorted horribly and I handed it right back. Didn't vignette though (with my Z1 in uunderscan mode), so the Z7's lens is different in a lot of ways, even though the specification is the same.

The big difference with the Century Optics Wide angle Adapter and Converter is that the Converter offers full zoom through.
There is minimal vignetting at the edges on these two models as seen in this video I shot at NAB a few years back. DVeStore Theatre - NAB2005 Century Optics |

Thank you but as I said I am looking for a w/angle adapter and not a converter.
