My Card in CF Slot Doesnt Record footage, am using Sony HVR-Z7 at DVinfo.net

Please do help me to record footage into Card on CF Recording Unit, the Card is 8 GB storage. its Sony HVR-Z7 new Camera and I tried it several times but it doesnt record!.....On CF Recording Unit SCREEN, it shows no file while am recording!.

Hello Ibrahim,
On my Z5 I have to do the following:

1) enter "menu" at mrc1 unit
2) sellect "settings" in the menu and enter
3) select the "cam link sel" and enter
4) select "synchro" and enter (NOT Follow)
5) enter "menu" to get out of "menu"

on the camera go into Menu
IN/OUT REC
EXT REC SEL
REC CTL MODE

Change to Synchronous or Relay
I Think the Z7 works in the same way

Hello Ibrahim,
Good to hear that your Z7 with the Card works! to previeuw the scenes set your camcorder to VCR and select the the scene you want to see and press on the Unit play.
To capture the card I copy all the stuff on a Disk and my Edius5.12 Soft can read them in.
It´s very simple.
P.S. I´ve seen your YouTubevideo, very interessing equipment
