Picture Profiles - Flatter?

Just wondering if there were any flatter picture profiles for the Z7 which would give a bit more control with the colour grade in post production?

Thanks in advance, Matt

I have been wondering about using x.v.Color which, acccording to the manual, records a wider range of colors. But it is limited to HDV and disables Picture Profiles. I wonder how widely it is recognized by NLE systems.

.Shut the PROFILE to OFF

.OR....go into your menu and adjus the COLOR DEPTH to the negative

The X.V color setting has to be used in conjunction with the same setting on your SONY HDTV. That's not the answer to what you want.

Hi ,

the Z7 does not support flat gamma curves - and the 1/3" chip does not offer bigger exposure capacities.
Manual knee does help a bit, but since there is no room for over exposure, it does not bring same results as with EX1 or 2/3" cameras.
