Has Sony's AVCHD codec fixed the moire problem, like Panasonic did with their new codec?

I don't think it has anything to do with AVCHD codec, but more with how the signal is processed and filtered from the CMOS chip. I know my VG10 has a Sony AVCHD codec and it moires.
But apparently moire is greatly reduced, if not totally eliminated, from the FS100's image.

moire results when there is detail falling on the sensor that is finer than can be digitized. The purpose of the OLPF is to filter out detail that has a higher frequency than the Nyquist sampling rate which is determined by the number of pixels.

what makes it hard to eliminate moire is that if the OLPF is set low enough to prevent moire it also removes fine detail that most want captured.

moire also results when a chip skips columns and rows when shooting video and not photos. Doing this instantly drops the Nyquist frequency. Because the OLPF doesn't drop, moire results.
