Hood for Odyssey in stock at Westside A V
This is a 2 part system.
There is a plastic small hood moulded to the Odyssey, that is mounted with 4 screws (optional thumbscrews for quick removal). It covers top and sides on the Odyssey. I feel this is a very nice way to protect your screen and it also makes viewing in strong light much better. The Odyssey screen is pretty vulnerable both on the camera and when transporting, I think this is a nice permanent protector. But it can easily be removed. Then there is a plastic reinforced Velvet hood that velcroes to the small hood. It splits open easily to make the touch screen easy to use. If you use a tablet stylus you don't need to pop the bottom of this hood open. You can put your face right up to the hood and squeeze it to shape it so there is very little outside light let in, great for critical focus. We are just putting this up on our WEBstore for ordering, here is the link for ordering: http://www.westsideavstore.com/index...=product&id=83 The price is $100.00 for the small protector hood and $50.00 Velvet addition. Cool, but tell us about the red eyepiece, and does anyone make eyepiece diopters slightly stronger than the factory one?

Dave that is a red chamois cover. I wear glasses and the rubber shade always leaves smears on your glasses, so I use these chamois covers, they have soft foam inside and just slip over the rubber hood.
A lot of suppliers carry them, some are red some are black. Here is one of micro fiber: chamois hood| B&H Photo Video You can replace the diopter if you know what to order from Edmund Scientific, or any lens supplier. I don't know of just a replacement.
