Matching FS700 and PMW-350
Anyone got any tips or advice on matching an FS700 to a PMW-350?
Going to use both on a job Thursday - used to have my EX3 setup to do this but want to see how well the FS700 can match. |

Re: Matching FS700 and PMW-350
Paul,
If you can get the pedestal, gamma, knee and sharpness to be the same and white balance to be similar the difference will mostly be in the sensor size which you really can't adjust for unless you light the shots so for instance the FS 700 is at a 5.6 when the PMW 350 is at a 1.8 or so. Your numbers may actually vary |

Macro lens recommendations?
If you really wanted to nail tight macro, would use use a fixed length macro lens, considering the subject might be 1-4 feet away, and if so, what mm length, or would you use a zoom lens with an achromatic diopter screwed on, and if so, what zoom strength? I already have a full set of achromatic diopters.

I shall have a play. The shoot is actually an easy event, locked off at back of room - so little creativity and no lighting. Not the most interesting shoot in the world! but I need to match the cameras as close as possible for that situation. Cheers. |
