Auto Shut-off on PDX10 or 950?
Do either of these cameras have the auto shutoff feature (sleep mode after a few minutes?) I know the consumer model cams come with the feature that cannot be disabled, but didn't know if these come with it or not.

All cams which have heads have this. The function is to prevent the over-heating of the heads and tape. VCRs have this too.

Hi,
But if I'm not wrong, the PD series implement Auto-Drum-Stop instead of Auto-Shut-Off. This leaves the cam on, but the drum and tape mechanism stopped. I don't know if PDX-10 has this feature, but PD-150 yes. |

That might work
Thanks, Frank, for clarifying the purpose. Most of my filming is done in hunting situations, and the camera goes into sleep mode at the most inopportune times. Maybe the auto drum off would be a better solution, specifically if I could wake it with a remote.
