ahhh, when I bought my VX2100 I purchased a really nice soft bag for it. It even has a mist cover built in. I'm at work right now, but get home in 2 hours. I can look through my order emails and post what type, where I bought it, and the cost. It is very rugged, trust me, lol... It'll hold the camera, couple lenses, filters, huge batteries, external mic, and has two end-outside pockets and one long front pocket. Then on the back is the zipper for the mist cover. It also has an area on top where you can strap in a tripod and fold the bag handles on top of that! I think I paid around $100 for it.

I find my Lowepro Magnum is a great bag for my vx2100.
http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Shou...Magnum_AW.aspx Maybe a little too large but it holds loads of extras with plenty of upgrade space.
