Transferring footage to tape -- DV or DVCAM mode?

When transferring footage back to the pd150, does it matter what REC MODE (DV or DVCAM) you set your camera on?

Thank you.

Page 109 in the manual suggests that it does.

Mike, what exactly do you mean? I read page 109 but I am confused now.

Again, here is what I need to do: I have some footage on my computer (which I edited) and now want to transfer it back to my camera. So, what are the differences between DV and DVCAM modes in this case?

It looks like if you chose DV, you get DV recording, if you chose DVCam, you get DVCam recordings.

Simple to test. I'm in the middle of a project or I'd test it myself.
