Which Lens will...
Which Lens Adaptor for the PD150/VX2K should I get if I would like to create a fun house like effect while shooting cars like in a car show type deal? Like when shooting from front to back from the side, the front wheels appear to enlarge and zoon closer, maybe like a fisheye effect?

I think you may want a fisheye lens.Century optics seem to be the standard when it comes to fisheyes especially for action sports shooters. but they are a high dollar lens. I believe raynox and kenko also make fisheyes but not to sure of the quality. You could also use filters on you NLE for this type of effect.

Depending on your editing tools, consider doing the distortions in Post. Then you can have multiple uses for the footage.

It's not the same thing when you do the distortion in post, you get like 3-4x the viewing angle with a fisheye lens.. plus you'd have to blow up the image...
Get a fisheye lens from either century optics (best) or raynox (depending on the model, good)..... If you get a raynox, don't get a clip one one. I'd suggest the MX3000... look for it at B&H, it goes for around $120, I think. http://raynox.co.jp/comparison/video...de.htm#mx-3000 Here's the kind of barrel distortion that lens will give you: http://raynox.co.jp/actualimage/vide...30pro-wall.jpg |

Really the only way to do it is use the "pinch" type filters, and reduce the size of the overall image....it doesn't work very good, plus it blows up the center of the image.
