DSR-PD 170's audio problem
My brand new DSR 170 P has serial number 1214476 (up to the limite of 1213500...). I bought it before four days. With out microphones, whem I am recording with the LCD display open, I can hear clearly a booz in the auto position. With one micro I hear this noise to the other channel. The same results to the manual position. The only solution is to take off this unplugged channel but, although, I am not sure that this buzzz there is is not in the audio recording of the other channel. Any idea? Two months i am waiting that SONY fix the hiss problem, i am reading that up to 1213500 it's O.K. and now I am feeling too bad and so victim... Why SONY?
I am preparing a documentary about music and I need the better audio solution. |

Alex,
Sorry to hear about your problem. Sony is fixing those camcorders with the problem. Please contact them to arrange the repair. There are quite a few threads in this Forum about the very same problem. Please take a look at them.
