i recently purchased the Sony VX2100 and i can't seem to figure out how to take stills onto the memory card. i read the manual several times and i still can't figure it out. can anyone here help? also, after i take them, how do i view them and transfer them to my computer?

The VCR/Off/Video/Memory dial on that you turn to turn the camera on needs to be turned to the last position. You may have to move the slider by it to get it to go to memory. Then above the red button on the back top is a silver button. Press that while in memory mode. Presto. You will know you are in memory mode as the display will start framing as it switches to progressive scan mode at 15fps.
