Using VX2000/150 with DSR11

I was wondering if anyone out there has used a DSR11 to record their footage directly from the camera.

Start and stop the DSR11 with the controls on the camera instead of the front panel using just the Ilink.

If any one has done this differently, like using lanc as well, I would still like to know.

Again, just to be clear. I want to hook up a VX2000 to a DSR11 via firewire. While connected, I would like to press the record button on the camera to record my footage onto the DSR11 via firewire with out touching the frontpanel or wireless remote on the DSR11.

Thanks,
Jaime Rivera
