VCR-DX9000E Color modification...
I bought this camcorder but seller did not told that it uses B&W only for viewfinder which is horrible thing as you dont be able to view correctly what you are shooting. So basically my idea is to make 3.5" LCD screen with old viewfinder parts. I would take atleast metallic adjustable parts as they are easy to screw on new modification and gives mod able to attach to the camcorder via same way than normal eyecup viewfinder.
How ever I have some questions about the viewfinder electrics, if I use the same electrics bundled with viewfinder, are these electrics able to view Color? What else should I need to think before this modification? My plans are these: 1. manifacture wooden suport with drilled whole in middle to give cable space. 2. Wooden outer attachement, which bolted to wooden support to give rotation axis for the lcd 3. 3.5" LCD TFT monitor attached to this outer wooden module 4. All wood painted to gray How ever there is possibility to use existing plastic covers, just attaching 3.5" lcd monitor to eyecups place and be able to adjust lcd with default viewfinder buttons, but I am wondering will this chipset on the mobo give color out? If the B&W is only the lcd monitor in the viewfinder, then it is possible. But if chipset dont give colors, then my route will be: 1. composite out 2. RFOUT for power If someone have some electric skills may help me a bit on my situation. |
