NP-F970 compatibilities? at DVinfo.net

Will the Sony NP-F970 batteries work with an older VX2000 & my TRV900?
I need to buy some new batteries, but I just want to verify that the 970s will work with the VX2000 that I am renting and my TRV900 as well.

Yes it will.

Just popped a 970 onto my VX-2000. Powered right up with no problems. In VCR mode it claimed 880 minutes, in camera mode it said 560. These run times (especally the 880) might be a little optimistic....
