Horizontal venetian blinds

Three months ago I had my camera in at Sony for repair (light yellow fringing and image was on the soft side. It came back fixed as far as I could tell. A month later I experieced perfectly distributed horizontal lines. Can this be caused by a bad CCD.

No, it's much more likely to be a blocked video head. Run a cleaning tape (follow the instructions to the letter) and report back.
