first shoot, amazing video!!
Shot my kids jazz jam using my brand new vx2000. Wow!! It is just like a tv show. Even my wife was impressed. The on board mic was fine ( my AT mic has not arived yet) and I now need to get a good tripod.
Have you ever used a jvc combo minidv/svhs to copy and edit? Seems like a great product. Again, thanks to all you folks for the great advice. Dave |

I knew you would love the cam and be amazed by the footage! If you are looking into tripods may i suggest the Libec M20 best bang for the buck as far as im concerned. $200 from zotz. |

I purchased 2 of them for use by the cinema classes at the local community college. I forget the alphabet soup model names but these were the ones with the number 20 buried in the model number.
They work quite well and have some nice but undocumented features (crappy manuals) They will do great dupes from one format to the other and will tanscode analog to digital and back again without doing a tape transfer. They aren't as good as my DSR-20 but then one could buy 3 of them for the price of one DSR-20.
