VX2000- Switch Proplem-- Easy Fix

Intermittently, I have a problem with the VTR/Camera Selector switch surrounding the red activation button. Sometimes, if I just bump it while depressing the red button, the camera will loose power. It seems like there is just poor contact being made by the selector switch.

I was thinking that using a bit of contact cleaner that people use with the scroll wheel may help.

I also saw the resource section above with showed the first thing to remove in servicing camera is the that side of camera, including the house on which the switch is located, and that doesn't look difficult, but I am wondering if there are any issues there too.
