No, there is no way. Your shutter speed is selected first, then you manually adjust the aperature. In most situations (except special effects) a shutter speed of 1/60th is all you will ever need, so I don't usually even mess with that. On rare occasions, you might kick speed up, so you can open lense up or properly expose whites in a bright environment.

This shutter speed thing was hard for me to get straight, since I come from a still camera background where you are looking for a higher shutter speed to help reduce damage of camera movement during a shot. That isn't a big issue in video, unless you are going to use captures from the video.
